Rye is one of the best types of grains for mycelium production on grain: resistance to bursting during cooking, composition in terms of sugars, and optimal carbon/nitrogen balance.
Rye grains sold in packages of 1, 5, or 25 kg for mushroom cultivation.
For the production of mycelium on grains, rye grains are generally first soaked, then boiled, and finally sterilized in bags or jars.
Composition: 100% rye grains (for mushroom cultivation).
Note: We buy these grains directly from the producer, there may be a small percentage of debris (other grains, husks, bran) depending on the batches. Therefore, these grains are not intended for human consumption, but for mushroom cultivation.
These grains are produced in Belgium on a farm working exclusively with biodynamics, they are certified BE-BIO-01 Agriculture Belgium.
